It looks interesting.

Fake but well made.
Something that always bothers me about youtube is when somebody post a fake trailer of a movie that does not exist or a sequel of a movie base on parts of the original movie. That being said whe have to recognize the work that has been well made.

This trailer was done really well.

I found this art form very original and great. I can imagine how much time it takes for Geninne to create these stationary set. Very, very creative!

Funny Video with the classic comedian Mr. Bean.

One of my favorite comedians of all time.

A very funny way to explain how to screenprint your own t-shirts. These guys are weird but they know what they do.

Details about the screen printing process. This video is a must for Graphic Designers and enthusiasts.

Don't you think elephants have a great memory?

A great interview introduction by Salvador Dali.

One of my favorites songs of all time from Depeche Mode. Great acoustic cover.
Familjen - Det snurrar i min skalle
Isn't this video creative? I love the song too, very depeche mode...

A great influence for modern graphic designers. I love his posters

A little more like a short film (Paul Rand the "a great graphic designer").

This documentary was done by BBC and is called "The Power of Art." This documentary is much better than any of the movies done about Van Gogh, well you even feel like watching a movie.

This remix is one of my all time favorite and it has a great beat. I have the single that has 4 versions of the song and they all sound great. Just in case you don't know the name of the original song is "Another Brick in the Wall" by Pink Floyd and included in the album "The Wall."

I always like to hear remixes from old songs to see how they become new and how can they maintain the essence at the same time. In this case I like this song, but the remix wasn't that revolutionary. Something that I like was the percussion included.

The Trunk by Sam Hendi.
This is an interesting short film to watch.

A film about industrial design. A must see for graphic designers. This is a documentary by Gary Hustwit who also created Helvetica.

I loved this movie.

Alvin Lustig is considered a pioneer of modern design and he really was great. It was a shame he died at the age of 40. I would've like to see more of his modern designs in graphic design as well as in interior designs.

Read more about him here
This time I decided to talk about something very important for every person who decides to design a logo for their company and how often they tend to make a mistake about choosing a logo for their company. Before I even started to think about becoming a graphic designer I always noticed how cheap a product looked or how confused I was about a product missing the touch of branding. One good friend of mine always tells me about going to the supermarket. He calls the supermarket the museum of design just because we can see how the logo and branding of the products can make us decide which one is the best choice, which one we can trust, etc.

The first Federal Express logo was designed by Richard Runyan in 1973.
The current one was Designed by Mr. Lindon Leader in 1994

There's no need to say the present logo has everything in it. Nice colors, easier to pronounce,
visually more trustworthy.
Could it be created from the start?   Yes, the font used (Futura Bold) was released in 1927.

The fist Starbucks logo was designed by Terry Heckler and also was also modified by the same association in 1992. The fist one had a topless image of the siren.
Could it be created from the start?   Yes,  Definitively.

The fist Mercedes Benz looked very amateurish if you ask me, and if you ask me i still see a lot of logos looking just like the first one. It was designed in the year 1902. The present logo was designed in the year 1928.
Could it be created from the start?   Yes,  Definitively.

The fist  and the current logo from BMW do not look that different. It's just a little cleaner that the first one. That is a great sample of how a logo has survived for that long and still looks modern. The first was was designed in 1923.

Could it be created from the start?   Yes,  they did.

I would like to introduce a new section in this blog to show movies recommendation and links where to watch the movies if available. I hope you enjoy this section and also if you can please support this type of films so that we can enjoy more movies of this genres in the future.

This movie "The Fall" directed by Tarsem Singh is one of the best movies I have seen in the last 5 years. The movie is about a stuntman who is in a hospital where he met a little curious girl who is attracted to an amazing story this stuntman used to make this little girl do something for him.

The movie has an amazing cinematography and was beautifully shot using many surreal visuals that made this movie looked amazing.

Picasso's real name was Pablo Diego José Francisco de Paula Juan Nepomuceno María de los Remedios Cipriano de la Santísima Trinidad Ruiz y Picasso. A little too long right?

This is a video that I have seen many times but I never get tired of it. This guy really made it clear you don't need the most advance technology to create something great. I would love to see this guy making more videos like this one.
